Looking to take chest day to a new level.



Flat and incline bench same day. Depends on your goal training experience and how heavy you are lifting. For the second and especially the third exercise you will. My chest has gotten a lot bigger since then and when i tried flat bench for fun the other day it had improved by 20 lbs.



Mostly used at 30 deg. Personally i do barbell flat before dumbbell incline if theyre on the same day. Maybe replace the incline bench bar with dumbbells or cable maybe we should have chest training in two parts each part in the separate day.



Which can happen if you train the same muscle group two. For starters doing three chest exercise will surely have an affect on your performance for the subsequent exercises. They are not the same.



My big 3 are usually flat bb incline bb and palms facing db presses. Chest day incline bb press 3x8 10 decline bb press 3x8 10 regular bb press 5x5 machine flys 3x8 10 and i lower the weight and continue to do as many as i can each set triceps pull down skull crushers 3x8 10 3 ab exercises is it ok if i do the three variations of the bench press in one day or is there really no benefit to this. 1x10 40lbs per arm warmup and my only warmup of the day as this is the first exercise 1x8 80lbs 1x6 90lbs 1x4 100lbs and of courseim always trying to eek up to a higher weight when i canif i manage to get 5 6 reps on the 100lb dumbbells then the next time i workout ill try 105 or.



Id say definitely do flat and incline on the same day. Two days ago i did the regular bench then the decline. Though i know alot of people who are more advanced in wsb who will do their bench work and then some board work or floor presses for their tricep work.



So for say flat bench i use dumbbells i would do. 3 weeks so far and ive definitely made gains. I did flat bb for 3 4 months until i stalled completely incline assistance then switched to incline bb as my main with dips for assistance.



In general i focus on progressing more with flat and treat incline as an accessory. Find what you like and switch it up. Incline bench the same as shoulder press.



Ive also done flat and incline on different days to avoid this issue. I rotate them in for me days one exercise each day. After years of combination and testing i came to the conclusion that its far more better to perform incline bench press in a separate day than the flat bench press for a couple of reasons.



Your shouldnt train shoulder and chest on the same day because shoulders are used as a secondary muscle group and get worked on chest day. With all the other accessory work i dont usually need any more. Incline bench is no more than at a 45 deg angle.
